It is officially Mustache March. My friend Josh Popovich is overseas in the air force and his unit is growing out mustaches for Mustache March. THEREFORE, his girlfriend, my best friend, and I decided to also. So, support your troops and wear your mustache proud.

Career Move

Today I will consider myself a runner. Funny? Nope, I am in for the long haul. No I don't have the coolest running shoes, but the above would be nice.

Day 1: today I ran a good mile. I did a run/walk pattern and it took about 20 minutes. I know I know, bad time BUT I failed to mentioned the 4 dogs I had to keep away from my sweet Chloe while running. The down fall to running by my house... country dogs. Ugh, they scared the day light out of me. Neverthless we prevailed and finished the race.

How do I feel: like a noodle.

Next run: tomorrow.

Goals: Build distance and shorten time. Talk my husband into joining my new career move and getting in shape and toned. You know, bathing suit season is approaching faster than I thought.

Yup that is him. MY HUSBAND.
November 6th will be a day/night in my life I will never forget.
Every bride believes they married " the most incredible" man they have ever met.
I, however, have done so and also married the man God ordained me to be with.

Incredible

This is a long one ...

First of all, let me proclaim that I have the best family in the world, including my new family, the ever so amazing Dorough's. John-Mark and I were blessed with 2 incredible showers this weekend and here are just a few of the goodies we got.

Can you guess which one is John-Mark's favorite?

John-Mark was incredibly bummed that he was not able to make it to his family's shower. While I was busy opening all our goodies and learning all his Aunt's names, John-Mark was in Orlando with Jared Anderson ministering and doing this ....

So glad we have friends and family who understand us and want to do nothing but bring life and blessings to our soon to be marriage.

We have our gift card shower this weekend, and this is a special one becuase it is a smaller shower with a few of our close friends. I can only imagine the surprises in store. The fabulous hostessessesss are: the ever so incredible Vickery fam, the one of kind Bashta bunch and the sweet Aldridge familia. You might want to stay tuned for more to come ... its probably going to get crazy. Haha.

One last thing, I just want to say how much I really appreciate this young hot mama's friendship, she means the world to me ...she is going to kill me for this

LIFE

So I have decided to partake in a LIFE small group this semester. At first I thought LIFE groups were for people who were hurting and I did not want people to think I was weak. Of course some way, some how we all have a inch of hurt in our hearts and minds. LIFE groups are about living in freedom.

This particular group is for woman my age. It was truly an amazing first meeting, probably about 35 to 40 girls showed up and we are all looking for the same thing: friendships and a deeper relationship with God and with that will come freedom from what keeps us from upholding that intimate relationship with our Father.

Pretty excited about what the semester holds. Callie Aldridge, Jaclyn Standridge and Nicole Larue are the leaders and they are amazing ladies. They pretty much rock my world.

I like change, positive change ... that excites me.

A Confused Football Fan...

So I have decided it will be a very confusing SEC football season. The man of my dreams is a very dedicated, die hard Auburn fan. As for me, I have always claimed to be an Alabama fan ever since I moved here. Mostly due to my family also loving Bama. Now that I have decided to "jump the broom" I have this overwhelming burden to become a "house divided" and cross over to the "other side" and wear orange and blue.

For the simple fact that it is not a big deal to me it has developed to be a hard decision to make. Maybe I could just watch the games and keep the peace and not say a word. Hmmm, we know that will be hard, considering I am a very passionate person and love football.

Anyways, if you have any thoughts on this, please let me know.

John-Mark is at the opening Auburn game tonight with John Ball, Mikey & Ryan. They are having so much fun and keeping me very updated on the game. Love those boys!

Hope this blog is a good first opener .. I will eventually become comfortable and keep you informed on fun stuff like: the wedding ... our new house ... and the wedding.
